David Krystal's musical inspiration stems from the vibrant UK music scene of his youth, surrounded by legendary artists such as Van Morrison and David Bowie. Growing up in South London, music became an integral part of his life. He explored various instruments and experimented with different song structures. It was during his teens that he had the privilege of attending a Nina Simone concert in NYC, which further fueled his passion for music. Recognizing his profound fervor, David Krystal made the decision to pursue a career in music. He embarked on a series of European tours, playing keyboard with GT Moore & the Reggae Guitars, before establishing himself as a solo artist with his own band.  

In his mid-twenties, David Krystal relocated to Toronto, Canada. There, he established his own music production company called Krystal Music, where he collaborated with industry luminaries. This led to a distinguished career in composing and producing, contributing to highly acclaimed commercials, television shows, and film soundtracks.  

David Krystal's exceptional work earned him awards and accolades, solidifying his reputation as a respected force in the industry. Recognized for his talents, he secured a publishing deal with Sony, affirming his artistic prowess. Despite his success in the commercial domain, he remained resolute in his desire to create his own music. With unwavering determination, David Krystal sold his production company, and fully committed himself to songwriting.  

On June 19, 2010, David Krystal released his debut album, "View From The Inside," which quickly caught the attention of European music streaming service Jamendo. His single "Say You Love Me" soared into the top ten of the Jamendo charts, amassing over seven million streams and one million downloads. Say You Love Me has since become a signature track, marking the beginning of a triptych album series centered around themes of loss, love, and hope. His sophomore album, "She Sings To Me," was released on February 11, 2013, followed by "All the Colours," on June 19, 2015. In addition to the studio recordings, David Krystal also released an exceptional live album recorded from a show at Musideum in Toronto in 2013 titled simply "David Krystal Live".
